I was fortunate to have my parents move to Alaska in 1962 when I was just 6 years old.
I am a lifelong Alaskan by choice who volunteered to serve the people of his Community, State, and Country for 20 years in Alaska’s Army National Guard.
After my military retirement in 2003, I continued to volunteer and serve my community in various deliberative bodies.
These are a few:
President, Airport Heights Community Council,
Commissioner, Alaska State Commission on Human Rights,
Commissioner/Chair, Citizens Advisory Commission on Federal Area’s, ( CACFA )
Commissioner, Alaska’s Public Office Commission. ( APOC )
I have faced and passed legislative confirmation several times for appointments by several Governors.
Currently, I enjoy my time with Mary, my Alaskan wife of 28 years, fishing, hunting, maintaining and driving our classic 1967 Pontiac GTO.
My willingness to serve has not diminished. Once again I am stepping up to offer my experience and knowledge as a service to the good people of the State of Alaska.
